Post-game Celebratory Fiesta

After the game we took our football player and our cheerleader out to dinner at a local favorite, La Fiesta, to celebrate a big 34-14 Win.

We started the trip with a hayride, and learned a lot about bees. The farmers raise bees and produce their own honey!



We fed the pony's.



We played a little "Hay bail" bowling, and finished the trip by entering the Hay Maze (which was designed in the shape of a tractor). This was a fun trip, and the kids were able to walk through the pumpkin patch before leaving to pick out their Halloween carving pumpkin. This particular farm grows them in white, blue, green and orange.

The squad received their uniforms today and were able to cheer in official apparel for this evenings football game against Minoco. 

Kinsey Cheers her first Game!

McKinsey cheered in her first Jr. High game this week (football), and helped inspire her team to a 12-6 victory! Go Cubs!

A day at the lake!

For Labor Day weekend we spent some time doing a little boating and water tubing. 

Back to School!

Back to school! Our Junior High schoolers are back at it! These three are also already very actively engaged with Football, Cheerleading, and Cross Country.

Featured front row, second from the left, is our own McKinsey! She decided to try out for Cheerleading this year at the Junior High, and did it largely on her own.  Very proud of her! 

New Teenager in the House!

Happy 13th Birthday Brendan! There are a few things this boy really loves. Football, Minecraft or Terreria, and the color green. So for his birthday we went with a green football theme and added the bonus of purchasing Terreria for his Wii personal. 

Blue Skies!

It's that time of year again, where we must say goodbye to the kids for a while so they can venture off to see Mom in Ohio! Nothing but Blue Skies this morning. Travel safe, and enjoy your time with Mom! We'll see you soon!
